A hike to Mt Everest Base camp will let you experience the rich climbing and cultural history that abounds in Nepal as well as the spectacular mountain scenery surrounded by the highest mountain in the world. The local Nepalese people will welcome you with open arms, as you experience their lifestyle, food and natural heritage. Shop for Asian treats in the majestic city of Kathmandu, which is home to one of the worlds great adventure centres. Our trips are assisted by the great Sherpa people as we follow in the footsteps of Hillary and the famous Imax expedition in the foothills of the Himalayas.
The treks will be supported by ADI sherpas and porters and will follow the historical route North from Lukla. You will have many opportunities to enjoy the rich culture of the Nepalese people as well as the incredible beauty of the surrounding mountains. We have outstanding views of many of the Himalayan giants such as Nuptse, Lhotse and Pumori, and of course Everest as we trek into base camp at 5500m.
